Mike, old geezer old matey man - I know I didnt vote for you, but if you read this can you set yourself up with a weblog in a similar vein to Tom Watson and Clive Soley so that we can have your views on any subject and so that we the electorate can see your views and interact with you. You can even get one free courtesy of googles blogger but obviously one with a /blog on your own url would be better. Im sure that as those two MPs have managed it you can.

Well, they didnt reply to my last email within the assured 12-24hours so ive sent it again asking for a reply asap.
Seems the traditional Apple UK customer service as crept in - they really need to have iTunes phone numbers. If i still dont get any reply by Monday (thatll be 3 or 4 days since my original email i think) i may try calling the UK regular Apple store and see if they can help.
I still dont have much hope of a satisfactory resolution for me (that is a credit for a new album) but Ill keep trying anyway as emailing them is no problem for me and hopefully Ill atleast get a decent response from them - and the fact that ive now bought the other version would encourage them to realise it was a genuine mistake and take pity on me for the paltry sum of £7.99
