Not mine, or works but a present someone at work received.
Its a lovely little machine, the 17” screen is plenty and its noticeably fast (this is a 1.8ghz version with 512mb RAM and a SuperDrive.
Seems to run quite warm but nowhere near like my 1.5ghz 15” PowerBook can run at and the fans (I think there are 3 variable speed ones) are quiet as.
I still think the white area at the bottom needs to be about half the depth it is and the visit in person has confirmed my view that if Apple had included some kind of scart connection and possibly a regular tv aerial connection theyd be flying off the shelves faster than no doubt they already are. Although you can get 3rd party hardware which can do the same. Of course as with most Apple products of late demand has not really been a problem, supply has, so of course price and value is unlikely to be a major issue anyway.
These are about £400 more than a decent TFT TV so its not far off TV value anyway, not withstanding the powerful G5 under the elegant hood.

I know theres more important things in the news today, but the news that Silverstone wont host an F1 race next year (at least if Bernie Ecclestone doesnt change his mind) is pretty fucking disgusting in my opinion. I know Silverstone isnt the greatest of tracks from a visitors point of view (not that Ive been) but its historical significance in F1 more than makes up for that. Apparently he was after £9m but they bidded £6m and expected to make a loss on that.
F1 has been gradually diluted with lower grip and power and removed technical devices which seem to have been mysteriously helping Ferarri (yes theyre good, but still) so that the rules are almost “Any car can win so long as its red and driven by a driver whose name begins with S and should said car finish last it still gets 10 points.”.
I fear for the future of F1 and can see people turning off in droves as the drivers get fed up and leave F1.
Coupled with Jaguar pulling out of F1 which also causes problems for Jordan this is not good for F1.
Thank you as ever DO

Basically, just start typing in the search area and itll live update. If you type too quickly it can get confused though, so dont.

OK, Im all but complete with my new host now. I have lost a few posts and comments when my last host moved servers and rolled them all back by a day.
I had a few initial problems with gallery which thanks to Steve at Vortex apparently working 24 hours a day should be all fixed now. If you find any problems just leave comment.
Ive dropped my Kubrick test site but of course Michael still has his test site and my cousin’s site is Kubrick themed anyway as is my sister’s site.
Ive also dropped ShortStat as I wasnt really using it much.
