If like me you have a .mac account and have been annoyed by the “iDisk wrong size, blah blah” error, I finally got round to bothering to try to fix it, then heres the answer from Apple.

Apple - Discussions - Local iDisk size error
You may receive an error message if local iDisk synchronization is enabled and there has been a change in the size of your iDisk. The error message will state:
“The size of the iDisk on your computer is not correct.”
This error can be resolved by turning off local iDisk, and then turning local iDisk back on.

To turn off local iDisk:
1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
2. From the View menu, choose .Mac.
3. Click iDisk.
4. Deselect the “Create a local copy of your iDisk’ option.
5. Close the System Preferences window.
6. Click Turn off local iDisk.

After completing these steps, there will be a Disk Image on your Desktop with the contents of your local iDisk.

To turn local iDisk on:
1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
2. From the View menu, choose .Mac.
3. Click iDisk.
4. Select the “Create a local copy of your iDisk’ option.
5. Close the System Preferences window.
6. Wait for local iDisk sync to complete, then click OK.

After completing these steps, local iDisk will be re-enabled, with the correct size for your iDisk.

I do like my Spotlight style for NetNewsWire 2 Beta but dare I say, Bartelme Design have improved it?
Well yes, I think so. I must admit mine was basically a quick hack just to get that look, but Bartelme has clearly spent time improving it.

Edit: Little tip though, change the folder name to “spotlight+” before installing it.

As you can see, ive tweaked my site yet again, current header image flavour of the season is The Grudge, as noted and ive also mucked around with the nav somewhat, adding my Flickr page, my tagline and search form under the nav - a tip of my cap there to Michael for the search on every page inspiration.
Heres a screen grab for when I get bored again and change it.

Edit: Yeah well, as you may notice from the disprepancies between the screen grabs and the site, Ive altered a colour already.

The current banner is from Ju-On “The Grudge”. Ive bought the DVD today but have yet to see it. Theres also a Hollywood version coming out with Sarah Michelle Gellar.

I hateIllustrator, specifically 10 as thats what im using. At the moment im cutting up paths and i get the above dialog if i miss the beizer point with the minus path tool. It then takes 2 clicks of the OK button to get rid of the bastard! Why?!Just fucking dont do anything, dont irritate me with unnecessary dialogs which get in the way of my workflow.
