Mallow 1.1, 31-12-4 - Definitely worthy of v1.1 I think (infact probably overdue). I have fixed the problem in IE with story titles and meta after the first post having the line cut short so they run on multiple lines. I think it was some kind of stupid IE CSS thing as I have had to reset them back to pixel widths, percentage just didnt work.

*EDIT:* Err, ok, that probably should have been v1.0 but nevermind.

Well…. obviously if you take the 1st and 5th letters of WordPress they are W and P - WP - thats it, simple.

I know its been out for a while but i thought it was worth mentioning that ive just upgraded about 6 WP sites I sort of administer to WP 1.2.2 and it was dead easy - about 5 mins per site.

I’ve enabled the Staticize Reloaded Plugin, so if anything goes wonky - hold tight!

Being the shameless follower of trends that I am, I visited Noscopes article about Favatars and had to have them for myself, so I grabbed the script and turned it into my own WP plugin.
So now, in the comments, if the commenter has a favicon on the site they entered, Itll show up next to the Gravatar.
I should really only have one or the other but pfft.
Oh, and if there’s any funky problems Ill have to turn it off as Im _not really_ sure what Im doing, for that reason (and also as its not my code) I wont release the plugin - just do it yourself.

*EDIT:* There is now a downloadable plugin available.

My current *bah humbug* rant at the top of the page currently, is stuck there courtesy of Adhesive, plus a dripping of my teh CSS skillizhor for styling of course

Mallow 1.08, 24-12-4 - More CSS tweakage - mainly calendar, also link to Kubrick is just ‘#’ as I think that signifies _’cite’_ or _’credit’_, oh and the link to _’Matthew’_ now goes to the Mallow home page. Finally, posts with pics in them, aligned left or right _should not_ funk up the rest of the page.

We discuss this alot at work (too much probably) what order would you rank fast food shops in? This list as a UK list and from best (top) to last (bottom) weve decided on the following;

1. KFC
2. Burger King
3. McDonalds
4. Wimpy - just because it has a sausage called a ‘big bender’

And for Supermarkets also;

1. Waitrose
2. M&S - Not technically a Supermarket but the food is good
3. Sainsburys
4. Tesco
5. Asda
6. Aldi, Lidl etc

Mallow 1.06, 21-12-4 - Added calendar.

Well it was Parliaments vote on ID cards yesterday and they voted in favour with 150 or so MPs _away_ to do Christmas shopping or whatever (Damn I cant find a link for this but Im *sure* it was on Radio 4). This was conveniently so that they didnt have to vote *against* their parties. For such a big issue as ID cards (and one that Im against), this just makes me think theyre a bunch of shits.

ID cards will initially not be compulsory, but will become so. Supposedly terrorism isnt the main reason for ID cards, but to _empower_ us with our identities - yeah *right* .. *Phhisshhh*

I dont want to have an ID card just to rent a DVD or whatever, I know who I am and if becomes a problem for bank accounts or whatever then Ill deal with it then. I have a passport, which is _surely_ the best form of ID anyway .. or atleast should be

Ofcourse theres also the very bad track record Governments have in any big computer system so no doubt we’ll be spending millions on a system which will think Im an old lady from Grantham - if it works at all

And another thing… the Tories support ID cards too so theres no real option .. Yay for democracy!

Should I set up CSS for a calendar in Mallow? I find a calendar more than useless so Ive not bothered but I wonder if anyone would like it?
