Mallow Version 1.12 - somefoolwitha.com

Mallow 1.12, 5-1-5 - As suggested by h0bbel Ive changed the spam form id from 'comment' to 'commentform', this should fix any problems anyone may have with SpamKarma.

1.11, 2-1-5 - As suggested by Robert Ive changed highlight to a class, so please update any posts from id="highlight" to class="highlight". Hopefully this wont cause too many hassles. Im not sure if it is *truly* worth the benefit of changing this (as it is only _really_ for the benefit of valdation) but Ive done it anyway. Sorry for any hassles caused.

*UPDATE:* Just found a few minor errors in the comment.php file so Ive literally just re-uploaded it. Basically I hadnt closed a link tag in the Ping/Trackbacks bit. *UPDATE 2:* -No, nothing wrong again, im not uploading a new version.- -I hadnt named the comment form properly oops.- -Ok, Im not sure if it _was_ wrong but- it should be OK now. Nonetheless the only other change is that Ive altered the Kubrick credit. It is there, honest. *NOT AN UPDATE:* I just want to note before I forget that Id like to find a way of not displaying the "Trackbacks and Pingbacks" title in a post if there are _no_ trackbacks or pingbacks. What seemed obvious didnt work. Oh yeah and I still need to work on the CSS markup and the HTML comments ...grumble grumble.... mumble... Oh yeah, *one* more thing, theres a few minor visual tweaks Id like to do. *FINAL UPDATE*(honest): Thanks to Joen Ive managed the track/pingback thing I was talking about, although its not in the current download. My next plan is to do some more visual tweaks, try and markup the HTML, organise the CSS better and then release it as v1.5. Knowing what Im like though, this wont happen and instead Ill do some more tweaks and upload v1.2 tomorrow. Im really *trying* to make an effort to get things tied down more before I release the code as I dont want to keep releasing little tweaks that just irritate. Unfortunately, Ive had a few problems with mysql on my Powerbook (my localhost test site for both Mallow and somefool (or sflwa)) which means that it intermittently goes tits-up so dont be surprised if you see the Mallow live site having a newer version that that which you can download - sorry but thats life.

*Oh go on then, one more*: 1.5 is going quite well but I think I still need to sit on it a bit and look for inspiration. Also, Ive not tried Mallow with the latest nightly builds whilst Im tweaking it and Im not too sure that itll work as it is. If you look at this Flickr discussion it seems that newer versions of WP1.5 have changed the way you include files. I can only assume that Mallow will also break due to this, but Ive not tried it, so if you are having similar problems then you need to alter the include lines in the same way. When Ive settled Mallow 1.5 a bit better Ill have a look into it. Obviously I dont *really* want to *have* to alter Mallow as it wont be backwards compatible with earlier versions. However, it is probably best practise to update it so ill have a look into it and see what happens.

Both SFLWA and Mallow seem to work fine with the 9th Jan nightly so that just leaves me even more bemused with the problem noted on Flickr.

Not sure what to do now? Should I hold out for more inspiration, or just upload Mallow v1.5? Hmmm.....
