The battery on my almost 2 1/2 year old 3g iPod is finally starting to act erratically and barely hold its charge for 3 hours. So, Im looking at a few options, Ive even read reports that the NewerTech batteries last for up to 21 hours. Apple’s own being pretty expensive.
See some pics 1, 2, 3.

Yeah, mine is approaching 2 years old and it’s dying a slow, drawn out death… Mind you, prolly doesnt help I use it for hours upon end each day
Likewise, I dont really begrudge the £12-20ish I have to spend on a new battery, the iPod will last me pretty indefinitely now. Assuming no vanity based impulse purchase of new Apple toys that is
My problem is I got a 20Gb one, back when I had 6Gb of music… “I’ll never fill that” I said… 2 Years later and I’m sitting on 17.8Gb of a possible 18.5Gb
The 60Gb looks mighty tempting now…
I knows it. Ive also had to disable some music to fit what I can on my ipod. When I got the 15gig I never thought Id ever use it all (mind you, I thought the same when I got my 1st gen iPod). As It is though, Im happy to just turn my less favoured music off for now.
Ive ordered it
