Apple Corps seeks logo ban in iTunes. Seems they want to remove the Apple logo from anything relating to iTunes (iPod, iTunes, website, adverts, etc), what the HELL has the Apple logo got to do with Apple Corp? Its different, it doesn’t effect their sales (in fact if they sold some Beatles tracks on iTunes they might be MAKE money from it), no one is confused between Apple Computers and Apple Corp. Seems to me like a cynical money grabbing use of the English courts and I hope its thrown out (though I doubt it will be). Maybe it is time for Apple to start a separate entertainment company. Maybe call it Sosumi (in fact in honour, of the events, that’ll be my system alert sound for the foreseeable future).

The contest to Boot Windows XP on an Intel Duo Core Mac has been won.
Im using Indesign CS at the moment as the files Ive got are not Quark as usual and Im starting to understand why I generally hate Adobe's UIs. Currently its one apparently small thing, but its annoying the hell outta me. Ive got the hollow pointer tool selected to widen some grouped pic boxes, now should I dare go near some text and try to click a box It'll become the text tool! DONT assume for me Adobe! I know what fucking tool I want! Thats just one of the annoyances in this overly busy interface, where there seem to be 2 or 3 different ways of doing the same thing on screen at once. Just dont get me started on Illustrators bezier points and how the fuck youre supposed to sensibly select one of those!
Pi day to day, dont celebrate it with Kate Bush's song (which gets Pi wrong) go with Hard n Phirm's lament to Pi. Pi day only really works as the American standard for dates - 3.14.6, here in the UK where its the more sensible day.month.year (in a proper order you see) - 14.3.6 doesnt really have the same effect.
The first race of the new season at Bahrain puts F1 off to a good start with an exciting new rules qualifying session followed by an even more enthralling race.

Im sure Ive mentioned this before, The Beastie Boys have a cappella downloads of loads of tracks for your own amusement for remixing in Garageband and alike. Heres my unfinished 10 minute effort. Its now the full length, but Ill just keep re-uploading it as and when its updated. Nothing special, just for fun. Yet another update.
