Im using Indesign CS at the moment as the files Ive got are not Quark as usual and Im starting to understand why I generally hate Adobe’s UIs. Currently its one apparently small thing, but its annoying the hell outta me. Ive got the hollow pointer tool selected to widen some grouped pic boxes, now should I dare go near some text and try to click a box It’ll become the text tool! DONT assume for me Adobe! I know what fucking tool I want! Thats just one of the annoyances in this overly busy interface, where there seem to be 2 or 3 different ways of doing the same thing on screen at once. Just dont get me started on Illustrators bezier points and how the fuck youre supposed to sensibly select one of those!
