Recently at my college, a spoken word artist performed. He was also agnostic, and one poem he wrote in particular spoke to me. He compared God to Diet Coke, saying that Diet Coke helps him get through the hard times in the same way that God helps others.
Just another one of the many erudite emails sent to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I just don't understand why specifically Diet Coke.

Happy Christmas!

I had a go at an iPhone ringtone in Garageband. Download it and give it a try yourself. Here's a regular MP3 version also. #

Thanks Paul Didge.

Most of my referrers in Flickr's stats seem to be from link spammers or even non-existent sites.
A Microsoft blogger revealed yesterday that the next version of Windows ("Windows 7") will contain touch features with specific claims that the new features will 'blow away' the current touch features on the iPhone

So the next version of Windows, not due till 2010 will 'blow away' the current iPhone's touch features? Hmm, think about that one MS. Where do you think the iPhone will be in 3 years time whilst you're sill playing catchup?

Quite a few technical issues this week with some files simply not recording, some having duplicate instruments on tracks and some recording silent. Sorry if you’ve not been recorded.

See you tonight.

Yesterday we concluded that all mobile phones are shit and this one is no exception. The industry has managed to pack an incredible about of technology into a small object, such that it would be indistinguishable from magic 20 years ago, and yet make the whole experience of using the thing more irritating than irritated bowel syndrome.

Well, not quite yet maybe, but there seems to be a rush of free wifi. Wetherspoons, and McDonalds to name but 2. There is also TheCloud which whilst not entirely free, does seem to have started pricing itself somewhat sensibly if you have an iPhone (free with O2) or an iPod Touch (£3.99pm) whilst Pay-As-You-Go is still crazily expensive. Is this the end of outrageously priced wifi? I for one hope so. Hat tip.
“Most people make the mistake of thinking design is what it looks like. People think it’s this veneer — that the designers are handed this box and told, ‘Make it look good!’ That’s not what we think design is. It’s not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.”
