I won't say any more initially, just have a wander around. Leave a comment if anything's broken or even email me. I have a little surprise planned to go with 'blanc' but hopefully it won't take me quite as long as blanc has. I shall also start gathering up my old designs for those who would like the raw (slightly preened) files.

Dude.. this is fully sweet. And we're not talking artificial sweeteners here, this is the real deal.
I dig the way content is 'exposed' as you hover over it - keeps things very minimal.. And the font choices, sizing.. rocks.
The candy greens, blues and so on really stand out on the black - which you really need to make it 'pop'.
I gotta navigate around this sucka to really appreciate it more.. navigation's my "thing" right now and this is as trippy as it gets.
Nice work, Mr Maber - nice work indeed.
Welcome blanc at somefoolwitha.com...

One small thing though.. the 'click on, click off' for the submit button (and associated meta) isn't immediately evident as such. Took me a few mouse clicks in the comment box to, ironically, "click" as to what was going on.. ;)
Matthew, I raise my hand and doth my cap. Well done good sir!
It is a great design, for the best aspect is the green hover status. Looking at the page you get the feeling for blues and greys and then suddenly there is a bright green in there! Stunning!
Oh yeah all the displays popping up when you hover is cool but like Brendan said I'm not too sure about the focus state on the submit button, especially for people like me that write part of a post, have a look round again then carry on. There was a lot of clicking there to get my button back.
Apart from that, awesome, post your old themes and keep it up.
Thank you both, greatly appreciated.
I absolutely agree about the submit button, I'll have to find a better way to do that.
Never be afraid to evolve a design. ;)
Matthew, I'm getting prototype errors [Prototype is not defined] in regards to your website - it's a good bet that's why live comments aren't working. ;)
If I drop in my old comments.php file it works fine (at least on my localhost test) so I think it's actually just something I change in the comments.php file. I'll have a look in the next hour or so.
As for prototype, I'm not sure - I'll have to look into it.
Sweet, fingers have been crossed and teh grey submit button of doom has been pressed.. will it explode? Find out in the next thrilling episode of pimp my AJAX.
It should be noted that I've been no-where near Internet Explorer with this design.
My first try with IE is in posting this comment - fingers crossed
