On the Blog is a 'comedy' series based around a blogger. It's kind of funny in places and certainly worth a listen. I cant find anything official on the BBC Radio 2 site, just a MySpace page - and this appears to be official in some way with some podcasts too.

Both a sitcom and a wicked satire of the internet's many absurdities, On The Blog's 'hero' is Andrew Glasgow, the assiduous keeper of a 'blog'. Part confessional and part performance, blogging has been heralded as the biggest revolution in journalism since the invention of radio but, as Andrew demonstrates, it's really just a jamboree for the kind of people who write round-robins at Christmas and also a massive repository of staircase wit. #

There's no need to use Yahoo Pipes to access authenticated feeds # for Daring Fireball as John Gruber has now made all feeds publicly accessible. Though if you're a DF member then you may still want to try Yahoo Pipes as the DF public feeds have ads.

For now, the members-only feeds continue to work, unchanged. As stated above, however, this experiment with an open-to-all full-content feed is as much for the benefit of members as it is for non-members. By far, the single most common request for the member feeds is to find a way to make them work with Google Reader. This is it. #

Yes, sort it Google, where's our authenticated feeds? You should be ashamed that Yahoo have come in and plugged this gap.

Science is a secular process and has nothing to do with the question of the existence, or the non-existence, of a God. It is thus relocated to the Philosophy shelves upstairs. "But what about Dawkins?!" I hear you cry. Dawkins is another well-known atheist, I agree, but he is best known as an evolutionary biologist and his books are strongly evolution-themed. #

I knew it was going to be a suspended the second the operator connected the call. Whilst a hysterical caller does not always (or even usually) mean a serious call, these weren't the usual panicking screams but howls of sheer terror. I wondered if it was going to be something gruesome; it was almost a relief went she told me that the patient was her elderly grandmother, who was "not waking up". #

Google makes Feedburner Pro free. They need to start integrating this stuff with Google Analytics really.
