Battleworn

Just a quick record for prosperity of my battle damaged MacBook Pro before my new i5 (with higher def anti-glare screen) eventually makes its way from China, to Germany (held due to the volcano), back to Korea then eventually here to England.

I fell on it 3 months in to owning it and had to wrench (literally) the CD drive side up, but besides having to replace the fans, HD and DVD its been fine - solidly made Apple product.

Id keep it for longer if I could get more than 2gig of ram in but its just becoming too slow. This is by far the best Mac Ive ever owned, having gone from a G4 tower, to iBook, to 12" Powerbook, to 15" Powerbook then to this (rev 2 of the Intel MacBook Pros) - each of the previous ones lasted about a year before I decided to replace them I can honestly say Ill miss this work horse - it's been worth every penny I paid for it.
