- adding <?php wp_footer(); ?> to footer.php.

I dont plan to update Mallow anymore, there are better themes out there. Im pretty sure it should work OK with WP2, but Ive not tried.

Ive rearranged my site and turned off comments on all the previous posts on here. This was because I was posting updates on the Mallow site rather than my blog which was the wrong way to do it.

Any new posts about Mallow will be on my main blog, but keep an eye on my Mallow page.

Ok, Im not sure on this one, Its probably not really that important but it bothers me.

Should the Mallow footer have:

Designed by Matthew and built from Kubrick.

or

Designed by Matthew with elements from Kubrick.

Both are not strictly true as its not really built Kubrick as such, it is built from my old site and which was then updated to WP1.3 using Kubrick (Ryans for 1.3) as a general code base for the lovely Kubrick bits and as a way of understanding 1.3 themes - which then in turn gave birth to Mallow. So much of the code is Kubrick and much is mine. My site also uses techniques from pre-Freya Binary Bonsai so theres an indirect link too.

It also doesnt really use elements of Kubrick either as that sounds like little snippets which clearly isnt true.

Oh, have I contradicted myself? Probably but Im not sure of the correct answer, you see I am very confused on this. I definitely want to credit Kubrick (both Michael and Ryan) as I wouldnt have been able to do Mallow without it.

Maybe I should simply put:

Designed by Matthew with credit to Kubrick.

or maybe:

Designed by Matthew with much from Kubrick.

Gah! I dont know. I suspect Ill play with that line for a bit and see if anything settles.

Mallow blog or my blog?

More conundrums…. I think I made a big mistake making somefoolwitha.com/mallow as both the homepage for Mallow and the sample site. It means I would have to keep both up to date with any Mallow posts really. So to that end, at some point Ill move this Mallow demo site - maybe /mallow_live or /mallow_demo or something. Then Ill move these posts and comments to my main site and set up a mallow static page under /mallow.

Id like to have the latests Mallow posts and whatnot on the page. Itll also give me a chance to do a proper installation instructions page with maybe even sites Ive found using it or any variants which may (or may not) turn up - only downloadable useable ones mind.

Im not sure when Ill do this, but I do need to do it soon - before this becomes unwieldy. So maybe this weekend, maybe earlier. Who knows.

Oh and finally…

Im not sure whats going on with the 1px gap between the tabs and bar Im getting on my Mac at work for some reason, Its fine on my PowerBook. Ill just have to have a play.
