Been a while

Been a while

Im mostly posting things I notice to my Tumblog, photos to Flickr or Twittering these days, which seems to be a rising trend amongst once relatively prolific bloggers (a group I can in no way count myself as part of). Twitter is a far more fitting receptacle for my brain farts - to which end I've been playing with making Tumblr my main site but just can't bring myself to make the move fully.

Anyway, that said for those still listening - read on for a few of my favourite photos from the past few weeks in case you've missed my Flickr stream.

Tweetie on iPhone rocks!

tweetie

After a glowing recommendation from Sam of Fruitbytes I did something I never thought I would - I paid for an iPhone Twitter app.

Tweetie is by far the best application for twitter on the iPhone that I’ve used...

The app in question is Tweetie from atebits and it's well worth the £1.79 (or $2.99) entrance fee: A clean, clear interface; Easy to navigate and multiple Twitter accounts. What's more, as you can see on atebits site, Tweetie is fully Stephen Fry endorsed.

So what are you waiting for, go buy Tweetie and follow them on Twitter.

Im at Silverstone for the F1 tomorrow!

I'll be twittering some pictures to my TwitPic account and of course just generally twittering too. Join the live chat on Vee8.

Full fat feed and then some

I have been experimenting with my feed along with my Yahoo Pipes and have created a couple of full-on feeds. One of these (RSS Feed) combines my site, Tumblr, Flickr, Google Shared Items and Twitter; and the other (RSS Feed) is exactly the same but without Twitter updates (you might, amazingly enough, not want to be bothered by my nonsense). Though I've been tempted to replace my main feed with one of these (the sans-Twitter one probably) - I haven't done yet.

I'm not sure how popular this might be but I'd certainly like to see a few people combine their myriad of sites/feeds into one easy to digest place.

Note

that I have changed the feed and RSS links to point to the Feedburner versions so I can more easily keep a track of them all. Feel free to visit the Pipes site though and clone them, but please use the Feedburner links if you plan to subscribe.
